Harnham, a specialist recruitment firm with a headcount of over 200, were consolidating three separate sites into one new expanded office space spanning two floors. The new workspace needed to support their growing team, incorporate key functional areas, including large training rooms, meeting rooms and social spaces and introduce a hot desking setup to enhance collaboration and company culture.
A key challenge was balancing budget while integrating both new and existing furniture to deliver a design led scheme that aligned with Harnham’s brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent visual identity across the space.
Having worked with Harnham since 2017, we were pleased to assist in their latest office expansion, providing a full range of furniture services, including sourcing and installation, storage, and relocation.
Collaborative Design: Working alongside the fit-out company, we consulted on furniture selection, finishes, and layouts as well as taking inspiration from the clients brand colour palette to align with the overall design vision
Furniture Reuse: We were able to integrate lots of their existing furniture into the new space, such as the training rooms, while sourcing new pieces where needed.
Social & Training Spaces: We introduced two large cafe areas with a pool table to foster interaction among the newly merged team. We also created two upgraded training rooms to support their expanding workforce.
Storage: To support their new hot desking model, we removed pedestals and installed lockers throughout the office, providing employees with secure personal storage.
Move Management: Our team managed the storage, relocation, and installation of their exisitng furniture, ensuring a smooth transition into the new space.
By combining furniture reuse, strategic sourcing, and expert move management, we delivered a cost-effective and functional workspace tailored to Harnham’s evolving needs.
