Clerkenwell, located in Central London, is home to hundreds of creative businesses, showrooms and architects that showcase the very best of the office furniture and design industry. Every May they come together to host “the UK’s leading design festival” and this years Clerkenwell Design Week was no exception. A record number of exhibitors, brands and showrooms dressed their stands and opened their doors to the industry crowds for three days of talks, exhibitions, events, workshops, product launches and after-hours parties.
The entire Broadbase team made the trip to London for this year’s show, all turning our ‘out-of-office’ on for a full team day out. We enjoyed catching up with our showroom reps and seeing as many products, finishes and new designs as we could. Below are just ten of our favourite items, in no particular order…

Contour chair from Senator
Task chair enthusiast Ellie chose the Contour chair from Senator. It stood out to her because of its sustainability and circular design principles. Contour chairs are made using 100% recycled plastic and feature removable covers that can be easily reupholstered or repaired. Additionally, all parts can be modified or replaced later, ensuring the product’s longevity. Ellie said that despite being a simple chair, it was surprisingly comfortable due to its flexible, contoured backrest and seat.

Blom acoustic planters from Allsfär
These eye-catching planters from Allsfär were Anna’s favourite product. She liked how the different shapes and sizes of the planters were used together to break the area up whilst adding a natural feel to the room. The planters are available in 26 ‘nature-inspired’ colours and a variety of sizes.

Nova Wood high table from Narbutas
Whilst keeping an eye out for new pieces for our own office refresh, Clara spotted these high tables from Narbutas. She found the addition of multiple plants and trailing greenery to be particularly appealing, as well as the ability to add other accessories and tech to customise it exactly as you want it. The natural wood finish and planters will add a relaxed café vibe to a collaboration or meeting space.

Uku chair from Allermuir
Alice loved this chair for its simplistic but elegant design. She described it as an incredibly comfortable chair with a beautifully curved wooden back. Available in mid or high back options with a multitude of finishes.

Polygood® from The Good Plastic Company
This highly versatile surface material made from 100% recycled & recyclable plastic was chosen by Dan for its sustainability rating. Its tough durability makes it an ideal material for table tops and other furniture.

Ercol chairs in collaboration with Orangebox
This exciting collaboration brings this timeless, heritage British design and quality into a commercial setting. The collection comprises 7 solid wood designs, manufactured in Britain—ideal chairs for cafe and breakout areas.

Soss sofa from Origin Furniture
This armchair and sofa range is a new design launched at CDW. The curved tubular frame is made from steel, chosen for its recyclability. Manufactured in the UK, the range is available in finishes suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Ynghyd from Innerspace Cheshire
This multifunctional pegboard system stood out as an alternative to the widely available wire grid system. A beautifully made British product that brings a domestic feel into an office setting. It is named after a Welsh term meaning “community”, a nod to its use in collaborative spaces.

New colours from Bisley
Bisley has launched 3 new eye-catching shades bringing their colour options total to 37. It was great to see them in use across the range in their showroom.

Seryph from William Hands
This elegant and premium collection has now been expanded to include both medium and high-back options.
