Challenge

Optegra, a specialist eye health care provider, required a highly design-led workspace that balanced aesthetics with functionality. Their vision was to create an aspirational, agile working environment that reflected their brand’s high-end standards while working within a defined budget. The client wanted to create a well-structured office space that included meeting rooms, a boardroom, a reception area, breakout spaces, and a tea point—all designed to enhance collaboration and support their team.

Solution

Working alongside construction specialists Virtus and architects Wimshurst Pelleriti, we carefully curated and delivered a workspace that aligned with Optegra’s high-end design ambitions.

Quality Used Furniture: By incorporating a mix of reused and new furniture, we ensured that Optegra achieved their design vision while staying within budget and also promoting a more sustainable approach to office fit-outs. Desks from our quality used stock were upcycled with new worktops, and all task chairs were carefully selected from our quality used range.
Agile Workspaces: The open-plan layout was designed to encourage both collaboration and focus. Poseur tables with stools provided informal meeting space, while acoustic pods set against an exposed brick wall, created quieter spaces for concentration without moving employees from the main workspace.
Meeting Rooms: The large boardroom was designed to reflect the warm wooden tones used throughout, creating a seamless transition across different work zones.
Following the success of this project, we have continued to work with Optegra across their other UK sites.
