Savills aimed to enhance their office environment by transforming both Level 7 and Levels 3-6 of their workspace. Each project had a distinct purpose but shared the same key priorities: sustainability, wellbeing, collaboration, and flexibility.
Level 7 was designed as a proof-of-concept space, trialling new ways of working that could inform future workplace strategy. The goal was to create an environment that was motivating, inspiring, and adaptable, incorporating natural materials, biophilia, and sustainable solutions.
Levels 3-6 focused on upgrading social and breakout spaces, improving meeting facilities, and introducing more flexible work settings. The client wanted to evolve existing tea points into vibrant, central social hubs, integrating acoustic workspaces, booths, and space dividers to create a variety of work and meeting areas away from desks. Savills were also working towards their WELL accreditation so the design needed to align with WELL criteria to support employee wellbeing.
Understanding the unique needs of a fast-paced financial firm, we took a consultative approach to reimagine their 12,000 sq ft London office.
Optimised Space Planning: We carefully designed the layout to maximise efficiency, incorporating open-plan workstations, breakout spaces, and meeting rooms to encourage dynamic working.
Furniture Sourcing & Supply: Our team curated high-quality, ergonomic furniture that seamlessly blended style with functionality, enhancing comfort and performance.
Storage & Locker Solutions: We introduced a tailored storage and locker wall, offering employees secure and accessible space for personal and work-related items.
Refurbishment & Sustainability: In line with sustainability goals, we refurbished and repaired existing furniture where possible, reducing waste and extending the lifecycle of key pieces.
Seamless Delivery & Installation: Every element, from workstations to tea points, was delivered and installed with precision, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
The transformation delivered a sophisticated, functional, and future-proof workspace that fosters collaboration while providing employees with the tools they need to work efficiently. The open-plan design encourages communication, while dedicated breakout areas and meeting rooms provide flexibility for focused tasks. The storage and locker wall improved organization, and the sustainable approach aligned with Savills Investment Management’s corporate responsibility goals.
We were extremely impressed with Broadbase’s approach to our fit-out project. They totally understood the brief and were faultless in their delivery. Georgina was a highly proficient member of the project team, personable, knowledgeable, efficient and unflappable (despite the long list of suppliers that she had to juggle). From start to finish, the Broadbase Team provided an outstanding service and we would have no hesitation in working with them again.
